Jerusalem Part I: "As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people, from this time forth and forevermore." Psalm 125:2

This collection of photos is from my family's trip to Jerusalem in April 2013. It's an incredible city, steeped in history and culture and regarded as holy land by Christians, Jews, and Muslims alike, who together constitute half the human race.

We stayed in Jerusalem for four days, during which we walked through all four quarters of the Old City (Muslim, Armenian, Christian, and Jewish), visited numerous churches, the Wailing Wall, as well as the Mount of Olives. The photos of the garden were taken at the Garden Tomb, which some people believe to be the true site of the Crucifixion and Jesus' burial before his resurrection (rather than what is now the Church of the Holy Sepulchre).
