"Sometimes our fate resembles a fruit tree in winter. Who would think that those branches would turn green again and blossom, but we hope it, we know it." --Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

A revisit to the Montreal Botanical Gardens on the second day of March. Apart from the greenhouses, this area of the gardens is closed for winter, but the paths still draw plenty of joggers, cross-country skiers (not shown) and, of course, the occasional photographer.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/yun-ching
