Jerusalem Part III consists of the photos I took in my final 2 days in Jerusalem. My family and I visited several more churches, even attending part of a Sunday service in one of them. We also returned to the Garden Tomb, where we took communion. Hundreds of other Christian pilgrims attended the service and communion in the garden that day. The olive-wood cups remain cherished keepsakes.

Jerusalem Part II: "Beautiful in elevation, is the joy of all the earth, Mount Zion, in the far north, the city of the great King." Psalm 48:2
The second part of my Jerusalem collection includes photos taken around the Old City, at the Wailing Wall (the remains of the great temple built by King Herod, later destroyed by the Romans circa 70 A.D.), where Jews and Christian pilgrims gather to pray, at various churches on the Mount of Olives, among them the Dominus Flevit Church (lit. translation "The Lord wept" as Jesus wept for the future destruction of Jerusalem), the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Church of Mary Magdalene (the Orthodox church with golden onion domes) and at the Garden of Gethsemane.
